A child-friendly marketplace is good for everyone, as parents with small children feel more welcome in the world, and stores can gain the trust and business of both parents and children.
Over the last decade or so, we have seen many signs that businesses have become much more aware of this. Now crayons are found on restaurant tables everywhere, changing tables are not uncommon in men's restrooms as well as women's, and private places to nurse are no longer unheard-of.
CFI offers tools to help businesses learn how to better serve their littlest clientele, and a database for parents to find child-friendly establishments. Our business members help to sustain this site, and offer support and services to other businesses.
