Starting a CFI Chapter
A loosely affiliated group of friends can move mountains! However, if you:
- share our mission*,
- would like to do non-profit fundraisers for your community, and
- want to use our name and logo
-- you may be interested in forming a chapter in your area.
*We have 501(c)(3) non-profit status, which designates that we educate and raise public awareness
- You need to have two members to start.
- There is a $25 application fee.
- Chapters are designated regionally and must be inclusive and non-discriminatory.
- Dues are set by each chapter, a portion of which is returned to our national organization.

The sky's the limit!
Gwen Shook of Jersey City, NJ decided she wanted to create a community of mothers who could become a resource to each other. She formed our first chapter, getting together to put on events to raise awareness about--and have fun with--kids.
