This brochure, entitled "How to Create a Child-Friendly Neighborhood", describes CFI and what we do. Read it online to get an idea of what you can do to start working with us. Print it out to make copies to pass out to your friends!

How-to Kit for Businesses

This brochure, entitled "How to Create a Child-Friendly Business," contains an explanation of CFI and our Seal of Approval, plus a checklist for their business and a membership application. It's best to make an appointment to bring it in, go through it with the business owner, and then ceremoniously present them with the Seal of Approval, but you can also drop this off and return later.

This is a great handout for businesses to supply to their customers at the counter. There is a place in the back for the business to stamp their imprint and promote their business.

To prepare for your first meeting, print out one master of each of the documents on this page. Make notes about the colors on the back of each page. Suggested first print run: print enough so that each volunteer has:

This flyer contains the "12 tips for Creating a Child-Friendly Business" list, and is a great first-contact for businesses that you feel should earn the Child-Friendly Seal of Approval. Hand one out to the manager, (give them the brochure as well), and make an appointment to return with the seal and a checklist.
