We are parents, we are businesses, we are citizens.
Child–Friendly Initiative is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children. CFI members all over the United States work to transform their neighborhoods and communities into places that honor and respect children and support families.
By creating detailed criteria for what it means to be child-friendly, by offering education about child-friendly philosophies, and launching a national database of child-friendly places, we hope to spread the good word.
We believe that “Child-Friendly” is an attitude and a practice that must permeate every strata of society — a partnership of parents, caregivers, businesses, educators and children.
